How to Use the Version Changer for Your Minecraft Server

🌟 How to Use the Version Changer for Your Minecraft Server 🌟

So, you just got a shiny new Minecraft server? First of all, congrats! Now, let’s make it truly yours by setting up the version and build you want. Whether you’re going for vanilla, paper, or something fancier like pufferfish, we’ve got you covered. Let’s dig in!

Step 1: Head to the Versions Tab

Log into your server panel and select your server. Now, look for the “Versions” tab, which is usually hiding in the Management section. Found it? Awesome. Moving on. 🔍

Step 2: Choose Your Build

This is where the fun begins. You’ll see a whole buffet of options, like:

  • Vanilla
  • Paper
  • Pufferfish
  • Spigot
  • Folia
  • Purpur
  • Forge
  • Fabric
  • and many more!

Pick the one that speaks to your Minecraft soul. Once you’ve made your choice, click on it. 🖱️

Step 3: Pick Your Version

After selecting your build, you’ll be prompted to choose a version. From the latest and greatest (1.21.4) to the old-school classics (1.12.2), it’s all there. Select your desired version and get ready to rock. 🎸

Step 4: (Optional but Recommended) Wipe the Server Files

If this is your first setup or you want a clean slate, toggle the “Wipe Server Files” option. You’ll know it’s toggled on when:

  • The white dot moves to the right.
  • The slider background changes color (ooh, fancy!).

Wiping the server files ensures you won’t have any leftover junk messing things up. Highly recommended!

Step 5: Click Install

Once you’ve made your selections and toggled the wipe option (if needed), click “Install”. Now, all you have to do is wait a few seconds. Your new server will be ready faster than you can say “Creeper, aw man!” ⏳

Final Notes

That’s it! Your server is now rocking the version and build you selected. Go forth, mine blocks, and create epic worlds. If you run into any issues, you know where to find us—just don’t forget to bring snacks. 🍪
